Brief Description: The Gynaecological Oncology department of NICRH focuses on patient care by counselling, screening, health education and management. For early detection and accurate diagnosis of gynaecologic cancers (ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vulvar, vaginal) we use advancing imaging , biopsy and diagnostic laparoscopy when needed. The gynaecological oncology team are highly skilled to perform complex surgeries including cytoreductive,radical and fertility sparing surgeries. Lead tumor board for integrated treatment plan with the collaboration of medical & radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists. There are screening procedures for cervical cancer ( e g VIA, Pap's smear, HPV DNA,
Colposcopy ) and promote HPV vaccination and awareness campaigns. This department conduct CME workshops to update healthcare professionals . Our clinicians are trained and accredited for evidence based ethical practices from reputed institutes and universities for proper surgery of the patients. The focus of each and every staff in the department is to improve patient care with compassion.

* To provide comprehensive , multidisciplinary care for women with gynaecologic cancers and ensure dignity, empathy and equity in every ineraction.
* To train and empower the next generation gynaecologic oncologists, nurses and allied professionals through regorious education and hands on mentorship.
* To establish minimal invasive surgery for early stage of Cervical cancer and Endometrial cancer.
* To engage in community outreach and public health initiatives that promote awareness, early diagnosis and reduction of disparities in gynaecologic cancer care. .
