The Cancer Awareness Program at the National Cancer Research Institute and Hospital has been organized intermittently since its inception. However, it officially started in 2015 under the name "Cancer Jiggasha." The program is steadily gaining popularity over time. In 2024, a total of 4,206 individuals participated in the cancer awareness program. Among them, 47% were male (1,970), 49% were female (2,077), and 4% were children (159). According to the participation data by month, in January, 150 men, 240 women, and 10 children took part. The numbers fluctuated throughout the year, but the highest participation was observed in December. The program is increasing awareness about cancer among the public, and its popularity continues to grow each month.
